Our natural combed top is a luscious soft, squishy, fun spin from our own NH Grown Corriedale flock.  Soft enough to wear next to the skin or easy to felt. Our microns routinely come back lower than 30 microns.

This fiber is great for spinning, especially beginners, and felting. Spun worsted it makes killer lace and fingering yarns for open work (lace) and socks without the need for nylon. Spun woolen it creates a full yarn perfect for sweaters, boot socks, and shrugs. This is a sought after product for felters who use this as core of their sculptures. This natural combed top takes dye beautifully!

Aker Fiber Farm is a small New Hampshire based farm with pure corriedale lines. If you like to dye fiber our natural corriedale combed top is for you. We hand dye our corriedale combed top in small batches which gives them their unique design and the reason we sell in small quantities. We use a combination of natural and weak acid dyes, and all products (including the natural) are completed in a finish wash to remove any dyes or oils.
