Welcome, and thank you for being here.
We’re excited to welcome you to our new website. This is a soft launch, timed just ahead of Vogue Knitting Live in New York City (January 30–February 1). We couldn’t wait to share this space with you, even as we continue putting the finishing touches in place.
What you see now offers a peek at the types of products we carry—yarn and fiber from our own seeds and flock, thoughtfully chosen tools and supplies, and the classes and resources that support meaningful, hands-on fiber work. The shop will continue to grow and evolve, with our full launch, updates, and giveaways arriving by February 7.
Aker Fiber Farm is, first and always, a working farm. The sheep shape our days, the seasons guide our pace, and everything we offer is produced in small batches with care from start to finish. This website reflects that same approach: simple, intentional, and built to support quality over quantity.
Our blog will be a place to share updates from the farm, behind-the-scenes looks at our process, announcements about new products and classes, and occasional notes on what’s happening in the broader fiber and farming world. We hope it becomes a useful and welcoming resource as this space continues to unfold.
Thank you for supporting small farms, handmade work, and the long tradition of working with fiber. We’re glad you’re here—and we look forward to sharing what’s next.
